During my time at Planet 141, I worked on the trailer for Canchimalo Guerrero Marimaba, taking on multiple roles including compositing, lighting, and rendering. We initially used Maya and Fusion for 3D and compositing, but later transitioned to Blender with Eevee, which significantly improved our workflow thanks to its real-time rendering.
I handled lighting and shader development in Blender, consolidating everything into a single render pass. Working with Alembic files was challenging but rewarding, and I enhanced the visuals using PBR textures. I also took care of the final edit and sound mixing in DaVinci Resolve, helping bring the trailer together as a cohesive final piece.
